Multi-port charger in family location (kitchen counter, hallway, dining room). Phones go there at family-agreed time (9pm for teenagers; right after dinner for younger). Charges overnight; ready in morning.
Why this works
Removes phone-before-bed temptation. Prevents overnight notifications waking sleep. Builds family norm that bedrooms aren't phone zones. Makes overnight scrolling impossible.
Hardest with older teenagers — push back is real. Adults modelling the behaviour first makes enforcement easier. Most families who maintain it for 6 months don't want to revert.
